The best practice to protect your investment is to fully remove the existing plaster, full prep, before applying the new finish. This ensures a clean, secure surface and creates a strong mechanical bond that helps your new plaster adhere properly and last much longer. We strongly recommend this method and proudly follow it as our primary prep option when quoting every resurfacing project to ensure the highest quality and durability.
